Wise host Hearts

Accra Hearts of Oak will step up their preparations towards the resumption of the premier league with a friendly against Eleven Wise at the Sekondi Gyandu Park on Sunday.

According to a release signed by the Administrative Manager of Hearts, Mr. Ashford Tettey, the Phobians will thrill lucky Sekondi-Takoradi fans with a performance called the “four steps to victory,” on Sunday. That slogan is linked to Hearts’ ambition to crown another successful season with victories in the last four league matches.

Eleven Wise who have traditionally been tough customers for Hearts since its formation in 1916 will also use the big match to fine-tune themselves for the much-awaited Division One League. Before that Hearts will engage Kumasi-based division one side Krofrom Football Club at the Kumasi Stadium this afternoon.

The match is in memory of the late Alhaji Alaza, a founding member and patron of Kumasi Chapter 9 who served as the Ashanti Regional Representative under the H. P. Nyemitei administration.
