Wise and Samartex qualify for sub Middle league

Cape Coast, Feb. 12, GNA - Sekondi Eleven Wise and Samartex bagged 28 points each in the Zone 2B Division One league, which officially ended on Sunday to qualify for the Middle league.

Wise clinched a narrow 1-0 victory over Cape Coast Venomous Vipers in their last match played at the Sekondi Gyandu Park while Samreboi Samartex had a walk- over over bottom of the league table, Great Odupong who failed to turn up for the last match at Samreboi.

In another match played at the Robert Mensah stadium in Cape Coast, Ebusua Dwarfs fought from two goals down at half time to draw 2-2 with Sekondi Metro Stars.

Metro Stars led 2-0 at half time from goals scored by midfielder, Mohammed Jersey while Bismark Asiedu who played a yeoman's game for his side scored two quick goals in the 55th and 65th minutes to bring the scores at par.
