Winners of Coca Cola Top Four to be awarded

Accra, Feb. 24, GNA - The Technical Committee of the Coca- Cola Top Four Tournament on Tuesday released the names of the award winners of the just ended tournament with King Faisal FC winning three of the seven awards.

A Press Release signed by Mr Kudjoe Fianooo, Administrative Manager of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) and copied to the GNA Sports, named the Overall Best Player as Hamza Mohammed of Kumasi King Faisal FC.

Habib Mohammed of King Faisal also won the Best Defender Award while his compatriot, Suraj Mohammed winning the Best Goalkeeper Award. Frank Osei of Asante Kotoko won the Goal King Award with the Discovery of the Tournament Award going to Michael Helegbe of Dansoman-Based Liberty Professionals.

The award for the Best Goal went to Samad Abdul Okocha of Accra Hearts of Oak for his goal scored against Asante Kotoko in the sixth week match played in Kumasi while G. K. Manu has been named for the Best Referee award for officiating in the Kotoko verses King Faisal second week match.

The release said the award winners would be presented with their awards at a ceremony to be announced in due course.
