Ghana Football Association Executive Committee member Wilfred Osei wants neutral third party to moderate their dispute with the Sports Ministry.

There is a strained relationship between the two bodies and that is beginning to affect the sport in the country.

On Monday, key officials from both sides failed to attend a meeting for peace talks.

Osei, who doubles as the vice chairman of the Black Stars management committee, explained why some other top officials of the FA failed to meet the Sports Minister.

“I have a simple principle in life that I wouldn’t want to transact business with anyone who will bear his teeth and turn his cheek to the other side, the moment you do that you have not demonstrated good to me,” he told Joy Sports

"We are on very good terms with Nii and I must say that even before he became the Minister he was a personal friend and he assuming authority as the Minister should bring any misunderstanding between us and him.

"But I don’t see why I should go for a meeting where I will pretend as if we have a very good relationship with the Sports Minister when in actual fact things are not like that.

"I am of the view that so far there is an issue between us and the Ministry we need a higher authority to mediate because the Minister cannot be a judge in his own court."
