Winfred Dormon blasts Wa All Stars for 'anti football' tactics

Dreams FC assistant coach Winfred Dormon has criticized Wa All Stars for their anti-football strategy in Saturday’s 1-1 draw.

The new boys were matched in every department by the current leaders at the Dawu Park.

Midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey opened the scoring in the 15th minute but Wahidu Mumuni curled in a fabulous free-kick on 35 minutes to earn a point from a difficult match.

The match was overly physical and Dorman blamed the visitors.

“Wa All Stars deployed a cynical and defensive approach to hold us to a pulsating one all draw at home, Dawu. Clearly we control the two halves of the game,” Dormon posted on his Facebook page.

“We had a lot of good chances especially in the first half to have killed off the game but finishing wasn't on point. Our performance was encouraging though. Forward looking."
