Why The Ghana-Barbados Game was Cancelled

I am writing to take issue with the comments made following the cancellation of the Ghana vs Barbados game.

The reason for the game being cancelled is through no disagreement with the GFA, but due to the lack of interest from companies in Ghana who we have spoken to about sponsorship for the event. Not even GBC bothered to respond to communications about the game even after I met with Mr Amankwa, the Deputy Director General in London to inform him that we were providing the "rights" to the match FREE of charge.

Thats why the game was cancelled.
