West Ham keen on signing Ayew

English Premier League side West Ham are set to go back in for Andre Ayew in the summer after they failed to woo the Ghana star last year.

L'Equipe claim that the Hammers are targeting the attacking midfielder as Slaven Bilic looks to strengthen his squad further in the summer.

And their report suggests Bilic wants Dimitri Payet to persuade his ex-Marseille team-mate that the Olympic Stadium is the place to be next season.

West Ham were interested in Ayew, 26, last summer but he eventually signed for Swansea on a free transfer.

However, one year into a four-year contract the Ghana international has been linked with news that suggest he could be ready to move for the right offer.
