Head coach for Dreams FC, Charles K. Akunnor, has said that, his side is going into Sundays clash with Ashgold with the intention to attack through out the game.

Dreams FC, would travel to Obuasi to take on struggling Ashgold in the Ghana Premier League (GPL), week seven fixtures after winning by a lone goal at home against West Africa Football Academy (WAFA).

Coach Akunnor, who has supervised Dreams FC to a dream start to the season spoke to GNA Sports about his plans for the game, saying “Ashgold will come into the game as wounded lions, after losing to Liberty Professionals, they will do their best to make up for that loss, but we are not going to sit back and allow them to dictate the game, we will equally attack them.”

He also noted the danger of playing such a big club in their own back yard “they have sound technical men handling the team and their rich experience is a danger for us, I respect them a lot, but we will be careful not to expose ourselves but rather use their weaknesses to our advantage.”

Dreams FC is currently occupying the third position on the league table with 11 points, winning three, drawing two and losing one and Ashgold having seven points from six games and occupying the 11th position in the ongoing GPL.

Ashgold play host to Dreams FC on Sunday at the Obuasi Len clay sports stadium.
