We know Egypt’s weaknesses – Oti Akenteng

Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association Francis Oti Akenteng says the Black Stars technical team is aware of the weaknesses of the Pharaohs of Egypt.

Ghana has been drawn to face Egypt in the final qualifying round for the 2014 World Cup in what has been tagged by pundits as the match of the round, but Oti Akenteng told Takoradi-based Skyy Power FM that the Pharoahs have been well observed.

“We have observed how they play from the last friendly we played. If we have to take it from a psychological level, we have the edge over them because we beat them 3-0 before the 2013 AFCON. We know how they play; how they defend, how the goalkeeper grabs the ball; where they attack and how they attack. We have taken note of every detail and so we are ready for them.”

Oti Akenteng noted that the magnitude of the game would automatically motivate the players to give off their best.
