We Can't Afford To Fail - FA President

THE President of the Ghana Football Association, Mr. Kwasi Nyantakyi says that though the Stars last game against Lesotho looks very crucial, he does not see how the team will fail to advance to the next round of the World/Nations Cup qualifiers.

In an interview with 90 Minutes, the FA boss stated that his outfit has given the necessary support to the technical team of the Black Stars and therefore he would be surprised if the team fails to advance to the next stage of the competition.

"We have maximum confidence in the playing body and the technical team because they have assured us of victory. We are solidly behind the team and will pull all the stops to get Ghana to qualify for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. We cannot afford to disappoint Ghanaians because of the support they have given to us all this while. It will not be easy but we hope to be there when the time comes".
