It was an exciting fight of the grandsons as Mohammed Ablorh, the grandson of Azumah Nelson, faced Wesley Ayi Bonte, the grandson of Gbese Mantse Nii Ayi Bonte II at the Diplo Rumble on Saturday, May 4, 2024.

The fight between the 8-year-olds allowed the two young boxers to showcase their promising boxing potential to fans at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

Fighting from the red corner, Mohammed Ablorh appeared more like an experienced boxer as he timed his punches and carefully studied his opponent.

Wesley, on the other end, was more ferocious with his punches. The lad continuously pushed Ablorh to every corner of the ring, looking for the slightest chance to land a punch.

One of the distinct skills of the two boxers is how they've been able to master their leg works and body swerves.

The two boxers earned plaudits from the spectators who came to watch the main event, the Diplo Rumble fight between Azumah Nelson and Irchad Razaaly, the European Ambassador to Ghana.
