Wassaman turn to Herbert's experience

Premiership new boys, Wassaman have appointed Herbert Addo, the former Aduana Stars manager as coach.

Addo takes over the reins at the club in a new-look backroom team following the departure of Paa Kwesi Fabin, who guided the team to gain promotion.

According to the club, their decision to hand Addo the job was influenced by his vast experience in the game having led Obuasi Goldfields, Accra Hearts of Oak and Aduana Stars to winning the Ghana Premier League.

Wassaman General Manager, Kurt Okraku told Joy FM that, Addo is capable of leading the club to success.

"We think he has seen it all locally and will lead our club to success. Just two seasons ago, he won the league with Aduana Stars."

"We have absolute confidence in his ability and absolute confidence in the players he has selected for the new season and together as a team we can become successful."

Wassaman United will begin their Glo Premier League campaign against Heart of Lions at the Kpando Park on October 9.
