Wakaso set to stay at Rubin Kazan

Mubarak Wakaso looks set to stay with Rubin Kazan after taking part in the club’s official squad photo shoot.

The 25-year-old has returned to Russia after failing to secure a move to Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad.

Wakaso is said to be unhappy at Rubin and was looking to secure a move away from the club.

But his prospective move to Al Ittihad fell through over a dispute between two agents.

The Ghana international took part in the official pre-season photo shoot of the entire squad.

This is a strong indication that the midfielder has given up on moves to quit the club.
