All Stars began the game on a serious note as they attacked in droves with Frank Sowah and Joshua Otoo constantly lurking around the 18-yard box of Faisal in search of the opener. In one of their surging runs upfront, Otoo latched unto a loose ball in the midfield, ran deep down the right flank and lobbed a surprising ball over Faisal's keeper Iddrisu Ibrahim who had come out of his goal line to score the only goal of the match.

In the other match of the day, Bechem Chelsea who played better and should have carried the day, however lacked precision in attack to deny them the necessary goals.

Joshua Akoto, Frank Boateng and Isaac Acheampong, who spearheaded Chelsea's attack upfront, however, squandered the numerous begging chances that came their way throughout the match to end the game barren until Ashgold punished them in the penalty kicks as they converted all five of their kicks while Chelsea could only manage only three. 26 Aug. 10
