Vorsah faces lengthy lay-off

Ghana defender, Isaac Vorsah could be ruled out for up to six months after sustaining a knee injury whiles playing for Red Bulls Salzburg on Tuesday in the Austria Samsung cup against Pasching

The 24 year-old was replaced by Stefan Ilsanker in the 64th minute after a challenge with a Pasching player.

Preliminary tests revealed he might have suffered a tear in his knee cruciate ligament.

Ghana is scheduled to play Lesotho and Sudan in the 2014 world cup qualifiers in June, and the injury if finally confirmed by officials of Red Bulls Salzburg will rule him out.
