Vipers win against Fauzan

Cape Coast, Aug. 25, GNA- Cape Coast Venomous Vipers played a spectacular game to beat Kasoa Fauzan 2-0 in their division one league match played at the Cape Coast sports stadium on Sunday. Kicking off under the instructions of Takoradi based class one referee, Shadrack B. Bortey, Vipers playing one of their best games, forced their opponents to defend for most of the time but in the 37th minute, inside right, Edward Adams, outwitted a host of defenders to score the opener.

On resumption, Fauzan made a number of changes to revitalise their attack but that did not deter Vipers who were determined to carry the day to increase the score to 2-0 through outside left, Peter Edu in the 66th minute.

From then on, Fauzan took control of the match and made frantic efforts to equalise but try as they did, they could not find the net.
