Vipers to engage in two friendly matches

Cape Coast, June 16, GNA - Cape Coast Venomous Vipers football club is to engage in two friendly matches to test its preparedness towards their successful participation in the Division One League.

Mr Kweku Tandoh, Chairman of the club who disclosed this to the GNA Sports on Tuesday, said Vipers would meet Swedru All Blacks on Friday June 18 and engage Sekondi Hasaacas on Sunday June 20 all at Cape Coast. He said the match forms part of preparations being made by the club to assess its performance towards the 2003/2004 league which is yet to commence.

Mr Agyare Gyasi, Regional Sports Development Officer of the National Sports Council said the matches have been duly sanctioned.
