Vipers hold Samartex to goalless draw

Cape Coast, Feb. 5, GNA - Cape Coast Venomous Vipers played a determined game to hold Zone 2B league leaders, Samartex to a goalless drawn game in their Division One league match played at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium on Saturday.

Vipers paraded players including Nathaniel Annan, Alex Roller and Anthony Davies combined beautifully and forced Samartex to play in their own half for the greater part of the proceedings. Their best chance came in the 85th minute when Davies with only the goalkeeper to score shot over the bar.

Results of other league matches were Sekondi Eleven Wise beat Metro Stars 1-0 with Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs drawing 1-1 with Winneba Windy Professionals.
