Update: Ransford Osei fails to turn up for Kotoko medicals

Footy-ghana.com understands that former Ghana youth international Ransford Osei this morning failed to turn up for medical examinations ahead of a move to Premier League champions Asante Kotoko.

According to our sources, Osei is to append his signature to a one-year deal with an option to renew, but there is some disagreement over the expiry date of the contract.

Footy-ghana.com sources reveal that whilst Osei would want his one year deal to end in June 2013, Asante Kotoko are keen to have the expiry date moved to August 2013 because of the club’s possible continued involvement in next season’s CAF Champions League.

This disagreement could be a reason for Osei's no show today.
