U-20 WC: Starting line-up vs SA

Ghana has named its strongest squad to face South Africa in the second round clash at the U-20 World Cup in Egypt on Tuesday.

Black Satellites coach Sellas Tetteh has recalled regular wing-backs Samuel Inkoom and David Addy to his starting line-up for the game in Ismailia.

The duo was rested in the previous game against Uruguay to give Daniel Opare and Khasenu Ghandy the chance to impress as Ghana had already sealed their place in the last 16.

But with the knock-out phase of the competition underway, Tetteh will use his best starting line-up in his attempt to see off the South Africans.

Midfielder Gladson Awako is one of the two changes in the starting line-up as he takes the place of Mohammed Rabiu who is serving a one-match ban.

But Qatar-based Opoku Agyemang will continue to pay the price for lashing out at the coach when he was subsituted in the 4-0 thrashing of England. His position has been taken by Abeiku Quansah who excelled in the Ururguay game but Agyemang will be used as the trump card if things get difficult for the Satellites.

Captain Dede Ayew will lead out his his colleagues onto the pitch at 1430GMT while key goalpoachers Ransford Osei and Dominic Adiyiah will also start.

A win for Ghana on Tuesday will see the Black Satellites take on South Korea, who eliminated highly-fancied Paraguay on Monday night.

Ghana's starting line-up:

Daniel Adjei, Samuel Inkoom, David Addy, Jonathan Mensah, Daniel Addo, Agyemang Badu, Gladson Awako, Abeiku Quansah, Dede Ayew, Dominic Adiyah, Ransford Osei.
