U-17 WC: Ghana to play open match

The draw for the FIFA U-17 World Championship Peru 2005 was held at the spectacular Museo Tumbas Reales de Sip?n in Chiclayo on Saturday 16 July, with the 16 sides who will be contesting the finals discovering their first round rivals. And there are some fascinating clashes in store in what is set to be an exciting tournament.

All eyes will be on Peru between 16 September and 2 October as the battle to lift the FIFA U-17 World Championship unfolds. The task of pulling the names out of the hat went to Peruvian sports stars Sof?a Mulanovich, Te?filo Cubillas, Christian Ramos Garagay and Ram?n Ferreyros, and they did not disappoint - the famous four set up some high-voltage clashes for the thousands of fans who will be flocking to Peru for this festival of football. Just thinking about the upcoming Netherlands-Brazil and Mexico-Turkey clashes is enough to set the pulse racing.
