U-17 Players invited for camping

Accra, June 7, GNA 96 The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has invited a number of players from the regions to report for camping at the C.K. Gyamfi Sports College, Winneba to justify their inclusion into the National Under 17 (Black Starlets) football team. Mr Emmanuel Gyimah, General Secretary of the GFA in a release copied to the GNA Sports said the the first phase of the exercise will begin on June 11 2006

The invited players from the Upper West include Emaadu Mohammed, Saani Haruna, Salifu Kassim, Nuhu Alhassan, Razark Torfiq, Alhassan Samad, Abdul Samad Adel and Umer Adbul Sammad. Those from the Upper East are Anao Guy, Atia Sumaila, Baba Roy, Abada Abdulai, Wahidu Muberik, Pero Gwala, Ahmed Faisal, Karton Rauf and Eric Warden.

The players to represent the Northern Region include Alhassan Hafiz, Iddrisu Alhassan, Salifu Mubarak, Adam Mohammed Amin, Majeed Iddrisu, Mohammed Toxibu, Sadiq Sumaila Hamid Sadiq, Fuseini Matala, Vincent Dey, Sullemana Latif, Sumani Nurudeen, Mohammed Nazir, Mawutor Pius, Moahammed Haruna and Tofiq Sanni.

The Brong Ahafo Region has Ransford K. Asare, Victor Amoah, Joseph Amoah, Shadrick Boakye, John Kwadwo Mosil, Eric Aseidu, Ahamed Darko, Obeng Enoch, Yeboah Foster, Kwabina Bayee, Samuel Kyere, Agyemang Bedu, Michael Ogo, Osman Yahaya, Haruna Latif, Gowil Tamnor, David Kojo Nyarko, King Solomon, Kojo Poku and Isaac Gyan.

The players from the Ashanti Region include Gerald Sarpong, Charles Asante, Benjamin Owusu, Tajani Ahmed, Paul Mensah, Eric Boateng, Issaka Iddrisu, Akwasi Pepra, Lawrence Krah, Nana Yaw Sarfo Kantanka, Joseph Asante, Mazifi Tahuru, Akwasi Afriyie, Opoku K. Eric, Adu Kofi, Otu Sammy, Moro Ibrahim, Osei Bernnie, Ransford Osei, Emmanuel Bukarson, Okai Samuel Patrick Okyere and Kwame Johnny.

Those from the Central Region include Ebenezer Coleman, Eric Mensah, John Mensah, Owusu Reindolf, Acquah Ibrahim Saeed, Dick Charles, Fredrick Asante, Ibrahim Abenga, Ishmail Gasmel, Justice Arthur, Raphel Ghansah and Agyiri Harding.

The Volta Region is being represented by Akwasim Reobert, Mustapha Abass, Daddy Godfred, Rahman Iddrisu, Jones Agbogli, Baba Dzamesi, Franklin Asante and Amedornu. 07 June 06
