U-17 Draw on March 10

The draw for the African the 2005 Under 1-7 finals would be held in Cairo on March 10. The event will mark the official grouping of the eight teams in the tournament which opens in Banjul on May 7.

The ceremony will take place at the Cairo headquarters of the Confederation of African Football Caf and would be attended by representatives from the FAs of the eight countries involved.

The countries are host, The Gambia, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Zimbabwe, Mali, Nigeria, South Africa and the Ivory Coast. It is likely that the host Gambia play in the opening match on night of Saturday May 7 at the Independence stadium.
