Twenty people apply to man GFA Secretariat

The hunt for a competent person to man the Ghana Football Association (GFA) secretariat is over and a substantive General Secretary will soon be appointed to take up the vacant position.

More than twenty persons have applied for the position, which was left vacant after the expiration of Mr W.K. Agra's tenure three months ago.

The number has however been pruned to sixteen who will be interviewed by the committee set up by the GFA for the selection of a new General Secretary on October 5. It is likely the committee might need more than a day to undertake a meticulous work on the interviewers.

The GFA Secretariat is currently being handled by Mr Kwame Ampim-Darko in an acting capacity.
