Tottenham Back For Anthony Annan

BLACK Stars midfielder, Anthony Annan has once again emerged as a target for most English Premiership sides, with Tottenham Hotspurs leading the pack. Rosenborg Trondheim star Annan, who has been linked with Newcastle United and Blackburn Rovers, failed to secure a contract with any of the English sides that were seeking to secure his signature during the off season. He confirmed 90 Minutes on Saturday that Harry Redknapp's side has once again come up with an offer for him though his club is yet to give him the green light to speak to them.

“I have been notified of an offer from Tottenham Hotspur, however I must admit that we are yet to go into any form of negotiation,” he said.

“I might probably speak to them in the next few days and hopefully something good will come out of it as it has always been my dream to play in the English Premiership. I like their style and believe I would succeed there,” Anna added.

The former Hearts of Oak star then re-iterated his admiration for Harry Redknapp as a potential move to White Hart Lane beckons. “Muntari has told me a lot about his former boss and I think I like his style because he is the calibre that will always get the best out of you and really understands his players.”
