Top Accountancy win Inter-Schools Games

Accra, July 18, GNA-Top Accountancy Educational Institute scored six points, to win the Soccer category of the City Secondary and Business College Inter-Schools Sports Competition held in Accra on Wednesday.

City Secondary and Business College (C IBUSCO) came second with three points, while New Star Educational Institute took the third position with no point.

In the Girls category, CIBUSCO came first with three points, while New Star came second with no point.

In the Volleyball event, CIBUSCO came first with three points with the second position going to New Star with no points. CIBUSCO Girls also won the Volleyball with three points while New Star came second with no points.

Michael Nii Aryeetey of CIBUSCO was adjudged the best Footballer, while Lauratu Saeed also of CIBUSCO won the Best Girl Football Player with the Best Volleyball Player going to Lois Sarbah of New Star. The event formed part of activities marking the 36th Anniversary celebration of CIBUSCO

Mr Simon Adu Gyamfi, Director of CIBUSCO said next year, the school would introduce Physical Education into their course. He urged the students to take active interest in sports so that they would remain healthy at all times.
