The President of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana [PFAG], Tony Baffoe has stepped in to resolve the Hasaacas players’ salary impasse.

Players of the Sekondi-based club have failed to turn up for training since Tuesday with barely three days to start the Ghana Premier League season over eight months unpaid salaries.

But secretary of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana, Tony Baffoe, and ex-Black Stars player Stephen Baidoo have quickly stepped in to peacefully mediated the current impasse between management and players of the team.

The players have since reported to training in the afternoon following the players’ boycott of Tuesday’s training over their unpaid salaries spanning eight months.

Coach Yusif Basigi also sighed a glimmer of hope with his complete squad at training which offers him the competitive team selection for matches rather than the twelve newly signed players he would have taken to Wa because they reported to training on Tuesday.
