Togolese officials to handle Ghana/Burkina Faso CHAN clash

Accra, March 25, GNA - The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Togolese match officials for Sunday's CHAN qualifier between Ghana and Burkina Faso billed for the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra.

Information gathered by GNA Sports has it that referee Atsoo Kokou will direct affairs from the middle.

Atsoo, 38 who obtained his International badge in 2003 will be assisted on the lines by compatriots Djoukere Biagiu and Ayena Nouwagnon.

Ghanaian referee Cecil Fleischer Amatey will act as the fourth official.

The Black Stars held the Burkinabe counterpart to a barren draw in the first leg held in Ouagadougou a fortnight ago and needs nothing short of victory to claim a place amongst the finalist of the Sudan 2011 championship.

Ghana were runners-up in the maiden edition held in March 2009, losing 0-2 to DR Congo in the finals.

CHAN is a competition designed exclusively for footballers playing in their domestic leagues.
