Tema Juvenile Football Committee holds Second Awards ceremony

Tema, May 28, GNA - Derrick Osabutey of Photizo Academy has been honoured with the Goal King Award for scoring 10 goals in the just-ended under 12, 14, and 17 Tema Metropolitan Juvenile League. He was presented with boots and a certificate while his club, Photizo Academy, who emerged champions of the Under-12 category, also received a trophy and a football as its prize.

Arsenal Babies won the Fair Play award and were presented with a trophy and two footballs. The Under-14 Champions award went to Great Palmas Sporting Club and also recieved a trophy and a football as their prize. A. C. Sondisco won the Under-17 Championship Award and received a trophy and two footballs. The Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), sponsors of the League received the Platinum Award and were presented with a plaque and certificate.

The Director-General of GPHA and the Metropolitan Chief Executive won the Gold and Silver Awards respectively and were presented with certificates and trophies. The GPHA-sponsored Tema Metro Juvenile Football Committee League was organised for Colts teams within the Metropolis from September 2, 2009 to May 22, 2010. 28 May 10
