Tagoe's fine form continues

Ghana under-23 striker Prince Tagoe capped a good personal week on Thursday by scoring and setting up another goal in the first day of the new season in Saudi Arabia.

The 21-year-old’s effort helped Al Ittifaq to get off to flying start in the Asian country’s top league with a 4-1 win over Al Waddah.

The Ghanaian set his team on their way by setting up Al Mahmoud with the opener after ten minutes.

He smashed home late in the second half to seal the win after being put through by Al Mahmoud.

Tagoe has enjoyed an excellent upturn in form, having scored twice in the Black Meteors’ 3-1 away victory South Africa last Saturday. He is expected to play a major part in Al Ittifaq’s Gulf Cup campaign this season.
