Super Rainbows beat Ebubonko Royals in a friendly

Cape Coast, Aug 27, GNA - Super Rainbows beat Ebubonko Royals 5-3 in a friendly soccer match at the Mfantsipim school sports grounds on Saturday. Rainbow's mid-fielder, Ato Bentil played a yeoman's game by scoring four of the five goals for his team.

Rainbows led 4-1 at half- time but within 20 minutes on resumption of the second half, Royals took control of proceedings and scored three quick goals through their play maker, John Tandoh. Royals continued to dictate affairs of the game but their hope of catching up the scores were dashed when Rainbow's outside right, Joseph Mensah increased his side's tally to five in the dying minutes of the game to seal the doom of their opponents.
