Sundowns flop Baffour heads to AshantiGold

Former Ghana Premier League goal king Emmanuel Baffour has agreed terms to sign for Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold, MTNFootball.com understands.

The Mamelodi Sundowns flop joins the club on a free transfer after terminating his contract with the Premier Soccer League outfit.

Baffour signed for Sundowns at the beginning of 2012/13 season but failed to make any impact.

AshantiGold have been struggling to find a replacement for Yakubu Mohammed, who banged in 14 goals last season, now with PSL side Mamelodi Sundowns.

Baffour scored 21 goals in the 2011/2013 Ghana Premier League season during his spell at New Edubiase.
