Sunday's African U-17 Decider

THE NATIONAL U-17 soccer side, the Black Starlets came face to face with destiny as they host their Ivorian compatriots in their African U-17 qualifier at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Sunday.

Aware of the enormity of the task ahead, having lost 1-3 in the first leg in Abidjan, the team is sure to go past their guest to book a place for the Togo showdown in 2007.

The Starlets enter the game without its Head Coach, Bashiru Hayford who was red-carded in the first leg as a result of 'overstepping his boundaries'.

But the likely presence of Black Star's Head Coach, Claude Le Roy on the Starlets' bench has heightened confidence in camp to ensure victory.

The Ghanaians need two unanswered goals to make it to Togo and the amount of optimism in camp suggests that they have a leg firmly planted in Lome for next year's African juniors championship.
