Sudan set for Black Stars clash

The Sudanese national team arrived in Accra on Wednesday to prepare for their World Cup qualifier against Ghana on July 15.

The game has been arranged to take place in the Accra Sports Stadium after earlier initial reports suggested that the game would be honoured at the Kumasi sports stadium due to the May 9 stadium tragedy.

Upon arrival in Ghana the Sudanese contingent refused to lodge in their allocated hotel provided for them by the Ghanaian FA.

After the Sudanese bemoaned their accommodation the Ghana Football Association (GFA) decided to relocate them to a hotel of their choice.

Sources close to the GFA say the Sudanese claimed they provided the Ghanaian team a first class hotel during the first-leg of the game played in Omdurman in February.
