Stevanovic trusts in 'ambitious' Black Stars

Goran Stevanovic wants a perfect start in his first competitive game as Ghana coach against Congo.

The Black Stars are away in Brazzaville on Sunday and for the Serbian, whose debut game came in a 4-1 win over Togo, the team to continue on the winning trail.

Stevanovic, admits it would be a difficult contest but says Ghana is 'motivated and ambitious' to win the tie as he aims for the ultimate, the Nations Cup title after 29 years.

"I want to give my best and I think it is enough. If we do it well we can go better than the final finish in Angola. I have said to the people of Ghana already that is has been too long since Ghana won the Nations Cup and I want to change that. It is my great challenge.

"It very, very is important to take this match very seriously. We have to be motivated and ambitious and that is the best way we will win," he added.

Ghana top Group I on goal difference ahead of Sudan who are themselves are at home to Swaziland. The Black Stars are a point ahead of Congo in the qualifying for the 2012 Cup of Nations finals in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
