Stevanovic reveals Kwarasey concerns

Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic is concerned new first-choice goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey will not play competitively at least two months leading up to the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.

Kwarasey plays his club football in Norway where the season ends in early November, well in advance of the commencement of the Nations Cup in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea in late January.

Stevanovic is worried a lack of game-time leading up to the tournament might affect the man who is gradually working up his way as Ghana's number-one, but Kwarasey is confident he will stay in shape ahead of the competition.

"I understand the concerns but I know how to take care of myself so I will stay in shape for the competition", he tells KickOffGhana.

"It will be a very important tournament for me personally so I will do everything to go there in top condition."
