Stephen Appiah invited to play for Juventus Legends

Retired Stephen Appiah will play alongside some Juventus legends for the “Luvfans Cup Forever Legends Friendly Match” in China.

The exhibition match will be played between the Juventus legends and a China legends select side on 25 March.

Organizers Luvfans Network Technology Co. Ltd want to use the match to encourage local football fans to develop interest in football and promote it in China.

"China is a country that is dear to the hearts of all connected with the club, with the magnificent welcome received for the Italian Super Cup match on 8 August still very much fresh in everyone’s minds. We deem it fit to invite them," they said at a press launch of the event.
