Head coach of Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs, J.E Sarpong says their target in the upcoming Ghana Premier League is to maintain their premiership status at the end of the season.

The Cape-Coast based club gained promotion into the elite division after they suffered relegation in the 2013/14 league season.

Sarpong’s side have had a good run in their pre-season games and ahead of the domestic top-flight championship billed to come off on 20 February, 2016, the veteran trainer has revealed that their target is to maintain their premiership status at the end of the season.

‘’We want to maintain our premiership status when the season comes to an end. We are not looking at wining any trophy at the moment but to remain in the league,’’ he told TV3 Talk Sports Show.

‘’We will think of winning laurels in the season ahead but for now, it’s important that we maintain our premiership status.’’

Dwarfs will host Premier League newcomers Dreams FC in their opening fixture of the season
