Stars To Wear Puma For Saudi Game

Ghana?s Black Stars will be wearing PUMA designed jerseys for the first time on November 14 in their friendly game against Saudi Arabia in Jeddah.

It will be the first time the senior national team will be wearing PUMA designed jerseys since the GFA signed the multi-million dollar deal with PUMA last month.

The deal worth twelve million dollars for three years will see PUMA kitting all the other national teams, namely; the Black Stars, Satellites, Meteors, Starlets and the Black Queens. The three-year agreement with the company is an initial arrangement which might be extended to a further two years depending on the relationship.

The sponsorship will cover both the African and World Cup competitions.

A source close to the GFA told CITI FM that the make of the jerseys is exclusive to the Black Stars and the team is likely to wear the yellow version for the friendly against Saudi Arabia.
