Stars-Cranes: Burundian referees to handle match

Accra, Aug 22, GNA - Referee Hicuburundi Jean Marie Vianney of Burundi has been appointed by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) to handle the World Cup qualifying match against Uganda on September 4, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi. The match which is scheduled to kick off at 16:30 GMT, will see fellow Burundians, Gahunga Desire and Bizimana Jean Marie assisting on the lines with Niyongabo Athanase also from Burundi serving as the fourth referee.

Mr Bema Doubia from Cote d' Ivoire would be the Referees Inspector, while Mamara Almamy Kebele from Guinea would be the match commissioner. All the match officials are expected to arrive in Ghana at least three days ahead of the match.
