Starlets Goalkeeper to join Birmingham City?

Ever-improving Black Starlets goalkeeper, Joseph Addo, stands a chance of joining the junior team of English Premiership side Birmingham City should he continue to exhibit the gallant performance he put-up during the Black Starlets/Brazil game last Wednesday.

Being impressed with the goalie’s performance in last Wednesday second-round game against Brazil, Black Stars and Birmingham City goalkeeper, Richard ‘Oleley’ Kingson, has revealed in an exclusive interview that should the Starlets goalie exhibit another splendid performance in their next game, then he will definitely recommend him to officials of his English side.

Kingson, who hit the headlines of most English Sports journal after exhibiting a splendid performance that guided his side to clinch a 2-1 victory over Coca-Cola league side, Hereford United in their second round Carling Cup game played last Tuesday, claims Addo has what it takes to become a great goalkeeper should he be under a good goalkeeper’s trainer.

The Black Starlets who are aiming to grab their third trophy in the year’s FIFA U-17 tournament are scheduled to play Peru next Saturday in their quarter-final game at exactly 10:00 am.
