Somalians expected in Accra on Thursday

Accra, Nov 10, GNA - Officials and Players of the Somalian national team are expected in the country on Thursday, November 13, to take on the Black Stars in a World Cup Qualifying match at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Information gathered by the GNA Sports from the secretariat of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), indicated that the Somalians have contacted the secretariat to inform them about their intention to arrive in the country on November 13, but are yet to write officially to confirm.

The Somalians were supposed to host Ghana in the first leg but due to the civil unrest in that country, both the first and second legs have been shifted to Ghana.

The first leg will be played in Accra on Sunday, November 16, with the second leg coming on at the Kumasi Sports Stadium on November 23.
