Ada based De-Nart Soccer Academy will hold a special justify-your-inclusion football exercise on Saturday June 4, 2011 at Big-Ada Presby Park to select players to form the core of an Under 12 and 14 team in the Dangme East District, Ada.

Speaking in an interview with Sportsinghana.com , De-Nart Soccer Academy CEO Dennis Narterh Adzigodi explained that the one day exercise will form the basis of selecting players into the Soccer Academy.

He said he has observed that colts’ football in the Dangme East District has completely died off and has seen the need of revamping it. He explained that young football talents abound in the District especially on the islands but have always gone wasted because of lack of facilities and people to manage them.

Accordingly, as a way of giving back to society is the more reason why he has thought of forming the academy to help project this young talents to the rest of the world.

He was quick to add that as a young man himself he is ready to collaborate with all especially other well established soccer academies in the country who are interested in promoting the sports in the district.

Dennis Narterh Adzigodi himself is a very well known sportsman in the Ada District and has played for Eagle Stars Football Club from Pediatorkopey on the island. He attended both Pediatorkopey JHS and Ada Senior Secondary School both in the Dangme East District before moving on to Accra Polytechnic and later University of Ghana to pursue courses in accounting.

He now works with Sena 104.7 F.M in Ashaiman and is also the Publisher and Managing Editor of Soccer Factsfile Newspaper in Accra.

Players from Pediatotkopey, Aflive, Alorkpem (all on the island of Ada), Big Ada, and Ada Foah, Pute, Kasseh, Sege and Anyamam are expected to take part in the one day selection process from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Over 200 players both under 12 and 14 who have picked up forms (for free) will battle out on Saturday for selection into the first class academy in the district – this justify your inclusion is limited to only players in the Dangme East District , Ada.
