Sillsport donates another £80,000 to their academy.

** Two months after donating boxing items to the National Sports Council, Sillsport Group led by Mr. Christopher Antoh Forsythe has once again donated items and equipment worth £80,000 to Sillsport Academy & Sillsport F/C in Sunyani,

The items include jerseys, footballs, boots, cones, sit-on mower, 4x4 Landrover freelander, computers and gym equipments.

Sillsport Group is a UK based football management company, which has successfully made a take-over of Glentoran FC which has now become Sillsport Academy and Sillsport FC.

Sillsport say their target is not just football but also player management. They also have the Sillsport Development Company and Sillsport Leisure which deals with FIFA Licensed football agents and match agents.

To assuage the problem of finance and sponsorship for clubs, Sillsport creates a franchise which buys players in clubs and co-owns them with the clubs.

Leisure deals with organisation of matches, training tours for clubs and national teams in Europe and America.

Sillsport say they are committed to grassroots football development and tackle the persistent lack of finance to develop the game, and when quality players are identified, they do negotiate with clubs for development and give onwards transfer to the clubs.

They have already started justifies with free accommodation and players from everywhere are welcome to Sunyani.
