Sfaxien threatens Fifa action against Ghanaian player

Tunisian club CS Sfaxien are considering reporting Ghanaian player Maman Youssoufou to Fifa for consistent truancy.

The 21-year-old right back has for the third time without permission has failed to report to camp and is currently nowhere to be found.

The ex AshantiGold player’s latest act of truancy is leaving camp unceremoniously in July to his native Ghana and has since not returned.

“We will hold a meeting to discuss the possibility of reporting the player to Fifa because it is becoming one too many,” the clubs media coordinator Fathi Boujnah said.

The Tunisian league meanwhile has been in full swing since its resumption in April after four-month suspension following the political unrest which saw then-President Ben Ali ousted.
