Sevilla offers £5m for KP Boateng

Portsmouth have received some transfer offers in excess of £10 million, which could provide some much needed relief to the debt-ridden Premier League club.

CSKA Moscow have offered £4.5 million for Algerian international Nadir Belhadj and Sevilla have bid £5 million for midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng according to The Telegraph.

Pompey have been permitted by the Premier League to sell players outside of the transfer window in order to relieve the club of some of the massive debt that they are currently in.

With the FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham Hotspur coming in two weeks, Portsmouth have indicated that they will not offload their players before their last four showdown with Spurs at Wembley, but after their run in the tournament is over the club will look to sell most of their players.

Andrew Andronikou, Portsmouth’s administrator, has to bring in money in order pay the clubs creditors and get the club out of administration.

For being the first club to go into administration in Premier League history Pompey lost nine points, and if they are still in administration in the fall they will lose ten points in the Championship next season.
