Score Soccer Academy win maiden edition of Rising Sports Network invitational tournament

Rising Sports Network invitational tournament at the Kpando stadium came to an end successfully.

It was a tournament which saw the MP of Kpando constituency grace the occasion in the person of Mrs Dela Sowah.

The Competition saw Score Soccer Academy crowned champions, after beating the first runner-up Akpini Elete by 2-1. Akpini Elete on the day was a delight to watch but go frustrated after the Zongo based to SSA came back from behind to clinch the victory.

Julius Anani was on the losing side in the finals but won himself the best player of the tournament after putting up an outstanding performance on the day.

Another top performer of the Akpini Elete side, Norvisi also went home with best defender accolade after making the most clearances (4) and tackles won (3) among defenders on the day.

The Skipper for Score Soccer Academy Gadafi, won himself the top goal scorer with two goals, his colleges Imbrahim Adam who was also a threat to oppositions and Aliu Sumaila athleticism in the post saw them being crowned the best midfielder and Goalkeeper awards respectively of the tournament.

An electrifying crowd at the event was a memorable one together with Rising Sports Network ensured that the invitational tournament at Kpando was something many will be speaking of for many more years to come
