School of Business win A-Poly Inter School Games

Accra, June 3, GNA-School of Business Management Studies defeated School of Engineering 1-0 in the soccer finals, to win the Accra Polytechnic Inter-School Games, which ended in Accra on Friday. The games, which served as preparation for the school to select a team for the forthcoming West African Polytechnic Games scheduled for Nigeria in December, saw Yaw Segberdor scoring the only goal of the match, in the seventh minute.

School of Engineering put everything into the game, but tried as they did, they could not score. Nana Dr Obiri Yeboah, Dean of Students Affairs, presented the magnificent trophy to Captain Emmanuel Armah of School of Business and Management Studies.

In the Volleyball, School of Applied Science emerged champions by beating School of Engineering 2-1. Nana Obiri Yeboah was happy about the performances put up by the participants and expressed the hope that Accra Polytechnic would qualify for the Nigeria Games. He called on the students to take active interest in sports so that they would remain healthy at all times.
