Satellites to camp in Switzerland for U20 World Cup

Ghana’s U20 team will hold a one-week pre-FIFA World Youth Championship training camp in Switzerland, MTNFootball.com has reported. The Black Satellites will leave Accra on 3rd June to continue their preparations.

The locally-based component of the team has been training in Accra for the past two weeks ahead of the tournament in Turkey.

Head coach Sellas Tetteh is expecting to have some of his invited foreign-based players join the team before their departure.

The 2013 African Youth Championship silver medalists face a tough challenge in Group A as they face France, Spain and USA.

Ghana won the FIFA U20 World Cup when they defeated Brazil 4-3 on penalties at the 2009 final in Egypt.
