Satellites play Benin on Wednesday

Accra, Sept. 13, GNA - The National Under- 21 football team, the Black Satellites are scheduled to play their Benin counterparts in a return international friendly match on Wednesday, September 15, at the Accra Sports Stadium. The Satellites defeated the Beninnoise in the first leg match last Saturday in Benin by a lone goal. The match forms part of the Satellites preparations towards the Africa Youth Tournament scheduled for Benin next year and they are scheduled to take on Cote d' Ivoire on October 3 in the first leg of the qualifier.

Coach Francis Oti-Akenten is expected to lead his boys to repeat a similar performance they exhibited in the first leg game by relying on the likes of Michael Helegbe, Prince Tagoe, Kweku Essien and Francis Mantey among others. According to a source from the Satellites Management Committee, a flat rate of 10,000 cedis and 20,000 cedis would be charged at the gates.
